Pejman Taheri is a skilled santour player and a capable musician who has studied music in Tehran and Vienna universities and has perfected his style training with veteran musicians like Majid Kiyani, Parviz Meshkatian and Mohammad Reza Lotfi. Following in the tradition of such musicians in Sheyda and Aref groups, he composed music in the same vein as them in the years 77 to 81.
