Arya Aziminejad
Born In Tehran, 1973/02/05, he learned music from his father, grand father and
Ancestors. His teachers for "setar" were great masters such as mohammad tajbakhsh,
Aliasghar zandvakil and jalal zolfonoon.he continued his education in music field in
"azad" private university , being a student of great musicians such as farhad fakhreddini,
Mostafa Pour torab, and Dr Hassan riahi. he started his professional work in 1372 by
composing music for theater,
 progressing to become a composer for IRIB, TV section. "Doctors", "our
"house", "Amboosh ", " this is not the way", "she was an angle" and " the last sin", are
some of the movies, he has got on his list as a composer.
Discussing the cinema field, he has done some masterpieces as "several kilos of date for
The funeral", "Deborah" ," Mask", " the crime scene, no entrance" , "parkway", " M as
Mother", "it is always about a woman", just as a start up.
He is also active in song writing, which has got the attention of
the song lovers. one can name "shekayate- hejran " and " don’t go
away, friend" as the best pieces in this area. He achieved to win the second prize in UK
international music festival in 2003, after which he started to work with "Jocelyn Pook"
and " peter Gabriel", producing music for Hollywood/European movies. At present, he is
working on local music from different areas of Iran, for "real world".
"M as Mother" is one of his best and most precious works .based on the context and the
Procedure of the production, it took him one year to do this .it started with the pre production
theme, making changes while working on the film script ,playback of the
music, when needed , and went on to the final performance, all of which made the work
unique and valuable.
